    does anyone know why I have a 4-9% packet loss when I'm downloading a game plz help!

    Post here if you have high ping and packet loss

    I am also experiencing unacceptable upload packet loss:

    Provider: SaskTel

    Ping: 74ms

    Download Speed: 3.85Mbs

    Upload Speed: 0.69Mbs

    Download Packet Loss: 0%

    Upload Packet Loss: 8%

    @xCRx Sleepy hey hey

    This can be because of Your local connection at home, if You use wireless, try to use wired, if wired try to change cable to some other. This can be because Your router CPU is loaded to 100% or router has small network buffer or outgoing packets. Or Your
    line to ISP has some problems, like bad physical condition or some other issue.

    So try to do what I've said first. about changing Your local connection type and cable first.

    Does internet speed affect how you play?

    Download and Upload speed do less than you think. You barley require a decent up/down to play. The biggest components are PING and Packet Loss. Packet Loss causes rubberbanding in games and PING is the latency of your connection to theirs. High PING means
    a High Packet Loss (or Jitter leads to Packet Loss too) and what is known as Lag. I have a 20Mb/s download and as long as you and me have the same PING, your 1.6Mb/s download is no different for gaming.

    100% Packet Loss

    Hi, my connection isn’t great while I play games like (fifa22) and very laggy.. my upload & download speed is really good.. as well as everything else but my packet loss is at 100%. So when I test the multiplayer connection the message comes up that I have high packet loss
