    Owned DLC Is Not Available In Game


    Feeling nostalgic, I started up a new game of Fallout 3. I had the original GOTY edition on disc, but had installed the digital version since it was free with my copy of Fallout 4. The xbox menu and the Microsoft store both say that I own all the DLC's and they are installed, but in game they don't show up. Is the problem that I had used a disc before and now I'm using the digital copy and the game doesn't know the difference? Is there a work around besides using the disc again?

    I have looked on there and the funny thing is it only shows a couple of dlc's from im presuming COD Ghosts by looking at the date, yet ive owned all the CODs with season passes, the games i'm trying to download are GOW which i own dlc still and rainbow six
    1/2 which the dlc is available to download and im sure ive purchased dlc for other games i've owned.

    Hi

    Yes I believe with backwards compatible games the DLC should also work, I have installed Burnout Paradise and Mass Effect games on my console as well as DLC content for them.

    If you own DLC for a backwards compatible once you have installed the game highlight the game in My Games and Apps then press the menu button and select manage game. Once the manage game screen opens one of the options available will show the available DLC
    content you own that is available to be installed.

    Mass Effect 2 DLC`s missing.

    If you own the DLC (I assume you do) have you checked the My Games and Apps > highlight Mass Effect 2 > hit the menu button > then manage game? You should see all available DLC available to download.

    DLC on multiple accounts

    None of the DLCs will show up in the Extras section of the game's menu because your wife hasn't purchased them. The Extras menu lists the DLCs you own, not the DLCs on the console.

    However the DLCs will be available for her to use in-game when she reaches the appropriate point.
