    First let me say I have never posted here before so I apologize in advance for any displays of ignorance I may commit. Also let it be known I am older (mid-fifties) and I am not up-to-date on all the lingo used in this community. And finally, I am Disabled
    Veteran, unable to work and deal with chronic pain issues but along with some good medications I use video games to take my mind off of the pain. So here's my problem:

    I have an Xbox One (Day One release), an Xbox 360 S (250gb) and just bought an Xbox 360 E (250gb). I play the 360's mostly as there just aren't enough games that I like out yet for the Xbox One. Anyway, I have the Xbox One and the Xbox 360 E in my den and
    they are connected to my gateway via ethernet cables. I moved the 360 S into my bedroom and it connects to the internet wirelessly. This worked just fine for 7-10 days then, starting yesterday the 360S in my bedroom quit connecting to Xbox Live! Actually
    sometimes it will say I have limited connectivity but it never fully connects. It is strange how it just suddenly occurred!

    Now as I said I am new to all this but I did not think there was a problem with having multiple Xbox's just as long as I didn't try to use them at the same time which I never do. Any help or ides would be much appreciated.

    :)

    XBLA split screen on another console?

    Hello,

    I've got two 360's. If I download a XBLA game on one I know only I can play it on the other (to avoid piracy). But what about split screen? i.e. on another console can I log in as me and play a game I've bought from XBLA and allow others to join in co-op
    split screen?

    Reason I ask is I don't know which console to download minecraft on. The main family one or the one in the bedroom.

    Thanks.

    Own two 360's but one is now not connecting to XBLA.

    It could be a couple of things. How far from your modem/router is your console? It could be that if it is too far from the modem/router or has too many walls between them that the signal is degrading (less than you need).

    There are 2 things you can try here.

    1. Try unplugging the modem/router for 10 seconds then plug it back in.

    If that doesn't work, your issue may need step 2.

    2. You may need to get a wireless signal booster from your local electronics store. They usually just plug into a wall outlet and boost the nearby wireless signals.

    Let me know if either of those work.

    Greetings Golfing!

    Appreciate if we could have you answer a few simple questions for us, so that we can face this with a better understanding of your situation.

    Please read:
    START HERE! And post back in full detail (the bits in bold). Be sure to include any troubleshooting steps you have tried so far, so we don't post up solutions that you have already tried.

    Could you run a diagnostic test on the failing console and let us know if this test fails to connect to LIVE, or if you see an message, related to your NAT's behavior.

    Go to System Settings. Select Network Settings and
    Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

    Thank you!

  6. Thank you for the quick replies but I managed to get it all sorted out myself.

    I knew signal strength was not the issue as I have a desktop pc in my bedroom along with my 360 S and my wife uses her laptop & Ipad in her bedroom (which is next to mine) and we have never had any connectivity issues with them. Also when I was running the
    'Test Xbox Live Connection' it was showing my gateway had 4 full bars.

    This A.M. I took my 360 S back into my den and hooked it up via ethernet and got it to connect to XBLA no problem so I disconnected the ethernet and, once again I would only get limited connectivity (I should add here that I DO NOT play multi-player games
    or chat so the problems associated with limited connectivity don't really bother me).

    Anyway, I decided to try and adjust my gateway settings (much to my wife's chagrin) and, not unlike the theory behind giving a million monkeys typewriters and enough paper and time, I too was able to produce a work of Shakespeare and actually adjust my NAT
    setting without losing internet access for the rest of the house!

    What I don't get is why things worked fine for a couple of weeks then just all of a sudden this NAT stuff comes up because I know I have NEVER messed with my gateway settings until,today.

  7. Okay guys I have one more question.

    As stated above, I have 3 Xboxes, an Xbox One and Xbox 360 E in my den and both connected to my Motorola NVG510 gateway via ethernet and another Xbox 360 S in my bedroom which connects wirelessly.

    Having looked around on the internet, it seems that my gateway does not support UPnP so my question is: If I want to connect to Xbox Live, am I doomed to changing my NAT setting each time I play on a different console?

    "Connection to server was lost, exiting to main menu" With the new Minecraft xbox 360 update! Help?

    I have two or three options, all of which require more than should be necessary:

    1) Subscribe to XBLA Gold;

    2) Disconnect XBox 360 from wi-fi network;

    Never reconnect XBox 360 to XBLA again because some XBox Administrator thinks that re-entering my Wi-fi key every time I want to connect it is not a PITA;

    Considering the tweets posted by Orith and now your attitude, I'm beginning to think Microsoft deliberately wants to peeve off their customers.
