Own Multiple Xbox Ones; How to play on all 3 consoles?

I own 3 Xbox One consoles: Xbox One X (mine), Xbox One S (12 year-old son's), and original Xbox One (shared between 7 and 5 year old son. I upgraded from XBL Gold to Game Pass Ultimate, and have set my 12 year old's Xbox One S as the home Xbox, so that
any games I buy or download, will also go to his console so that he can play them as well. My problem is, my younger children want to play games with me, and sometimes all of my kids want to game together as a family on all 3 consoles, with the younger kids
playing split-screen on the older, original Xbox. My younger kids cannot play any of my 400+ Xbox 360 & Xbox One games I've purchased over the last 15 years, without signing in under my profile to have access to the games, thus making it impossible for me
to play on my own console, with them. How do we all play together??? Xbox only allows one console as the "home" console, and I made my oldest kid's console the "home" console since he plays the most. Do I have to purchase a whole separate Game Pass Ultimate
account for my two younger kids to play with us? Even if I did that, will it let them play the games that "belong" to me? My game library is 95% digital, and only have a handful of games that are on disc. I'm worried that if I bought them their own GP Ultimate
account, it would still give them the pop-up error screen asking them if they own the game when they try to play it. All of my children are on my family account, if that matters. Thanks for your help.

Even with the family plan, you would have had to do the same thing. It was only for Gold. It didn't have any effect on licensing and sharing content.

For 3 consoles, you would need to purchase a subscription on another account in order for all 3 to be able to be online at the same time.

In order to share the games you purchased, the other accounts would still need to be playing on your Home console in order to access those games. If the games are also on Game Pass, then they would have access to those through that subscription, but otherwise,
you'd also need to purchase the games on a 2nd account as well.

That’s what I was afraid of, that I would have to buy additional copies of the games that I already own, so we could play together. Granted, they aren’t wanting to play every single game in my library, just a few of the games, but it’s irritating that i
have to purchase a separate XBL plan for them, and then additional copies of games. I wish Xbox would bring back the family xbox live plan they had years ago.

Absolutely! Just a tip, if both consoles will be on the same network you can use network transfer to send games from your old Xbox to the new one.

This is awesome because it's quicker than a normal download and it won't kill your data cap!
