Overwritten Cloud Sync, Lost Character Progress

My cloud sync was overwritten by a lesser file from a friends xbox one. I was hoping my cloud save from March 19th was able to be recovered. Thank you.

Unfortunately it's not possible to retrieve lost data, once it has been overwritten on the cloud, the old data is completely lost.

cloud saving on XBOX ONE

i had to reinstall a game on xbox one and i lost my progress i looked online and it said that it automatically saves to the cloud or hard drive and then it syncs to the cloud. i have no idea how to access the cloud or anything. i called support and they said that hard drive saves are only for 360. how do i retrieve the data?

Unfortunately if your game save was overwritten, there might not be a whole lot you can do. You might try reaching out to the
publisher to what options they have.

as you wiped the progress via cloud gaming then you have lost the save altogether, the above fix is mainly for pc so if on console and the save on the cloud has been overwritten then that's it, it is gone.

Hello Julian S! I'm Kris and I'd be happy to help you with your question.

If you have overwritten the console save and that has sync to the cloud, then then the other save is lost. If the save in the cloud is one you want back as not synced, you can try deleting local save and let it sync from the cloud.

Not if it has been overwritten or deleted. The saves are typically stored on the console and in the cloud. If it hasn't been overwritten in both places you may be able to sync it from the older save.

i lost my progress after sync console with cloud, so i think new game and new progress now at cloud. On my PC i have game with old progress, can i load progress from PC to cloud , not from cloud to pc. How to find local savings at PC ?
