Overwatch

The game will not launch after installation - have exhausted all troubleshooting with Microsoft and Blizzard including resetting console, removing and redownloading profiles, uninstalling and clearing local saved data. No resolution, just a refund for
the game. Desperately looking for a solution, any suggestions or is this a known issue?

On the optimization level, I read it's pretty good on a techical leve, and you can also map every character ability to have it ready in any moment.
If you are experienced with FPS on console, you could give it a try anyway, if you love the game I don't see any problem.

I see lots of video everywhere about Overwatch, but for me it's not worth it... Maybe I'm just not into that type of game, or I just see it as a Team Fortress 2 ripoff. I know TF2 is not on xbox One, but it's free on Steam so if you have a good computer you could give it a try.
In general I don't think shooters, expecially multiplayer one, work well with a controller... aiming with the mouse is muuuuch better!

 

As of now in their Overwatch twitter page Blizzard has posted this statement:

We're aware of issues affecting Xbox One party invites. Sorry for the inconvenience, but thanks for being patient as we work on a solution.

Let's hope they will solve this soon.

 

that seems to be for party invites. I was hoping this issue affected others - the microsoft rep on the phone led me to believe it was going on intermittently but really nothing posted about it here or on blizzard forums

Have you also tried a full re-install of the game to see if there's any change then? If no, let's give that a try as well to see if it helps. Let us know what's up

 

I have the same problem screen in black and xbox start screen again.

Ive been having the same problem, my game keeps crashing before it starts, it stays on a black screen for a little while then it crashes. I've tried everything on the Xbox trouble shoot page and on the blizzard support page. I have no clue what the problem
is. Anyone have any ideas?

 

Having the same problem all day done all of those steps above I played last night got up to day and won't let me play

 

On mine it's tilling me out of space for save data still have over 50% on my drive I just for the hell of it went back and delete a few things and still did not work and I have a 2 tb for my xbox one code it is given me is 0x80830003 and I got the game off
the Xbox and if it's not working in a few days is ther any way to get money put back on my Xbox account

 

Got mine working go to settings and go to restart console that worked for me I did everything else and it did not work don't turn your Xbox on and off that dose not work or unplugging it make sure you restart your console hope this works for you guys and

I just got off the phone with Xbox support. They said this is a known issue with the game publisher and they'll contact me via email when it's resolved. Unfortunately from what I'm seeing in this forum, it's been just over 1 month now. A friend of my son's
downloaded this game two days ago and his game works fine!

 

My game disc is new and cannot play the game as well. ALL troubleshooting steps has been exhausted too. Last thing I tried tis to factory reset my console -- it worked now! Thanks.

 

Mine was working as of 2:30am July 26. As of 3pm July 26 I just get the Tracer/Overwatch spash screen then it goes to black then it goes to the Xbox One home screen.

Reinstalled

Cleared cache

Powered off.

Disconnected power

Connected Power

Powered on.

Same issue.

Odd that it just stopped working and very annoying.
