    Hey everyone This is a forum that I have made due to the fact that im an ex Console player and now a pc gamer I realized that some games like overwatch I want to play on PC just don't want to repurchase the game If this gets enough views and more maybe Microsoft
    will work on doing it because I unfortunately don't have the money to repurchase the game.

    Xbox Play Anywhere: Better Games - PLEASE READ MICROSOFT

    Hello, my PEPS!

    So, as most of the Xbox community know, Xbox Play anywhere is Where you can play your Xbox games on windows 10! Which I think is AWESOME! Now, I don't know the recruitment process of games for Xbox Play Anywhere, but from looking at all of the Xbox Play
    Anywhere (XPA) Games, all of the XPA games that where on the Xbox store, where made by Microsoft, and none of the XPA games were from "high game" companies (Blizzard, Ubisoft, Activision, EA), so I am inferring that Microsoft can't do XPA games with other
    companies games. Now not to be hurtful or anything, but the games provided by the big companies are way better than the Microsoft games, and if Microsoft wants Xbox Play Anywhere to survive, they need to make a deal with the big companies to let Microsoft
    put their games for Xbox Play Anywhere! I personally love the XPA Idea, but please Microsoft, make a deal with these companies so we can actually start playing games (Fun Ones) on this AWESOME Idea! It would bring the idea to life and make me happy and probably
    thousands of other people part of the Xbox community if you could just make a deal to pursue this awesome Idea! (Please have Ubisoft first because they have my fav games Overwatch XPA :) )

    If a Microsoft person is reading this, please respond to me and please tell me how the recruitment process works of XPA games, and if any AWESOME games from high up companies are going to have their games on XPA! Thanks for the XPA Idea overall though, and
    please consider making a deal with Ubisoft (My fav game company) so their games can be on Xbox Play Anywhere! LOVE U GUYS AT MICROSOFT, BYE!

    Is this a Yes then? as i know you can play xpas that have been purchased on xbox on pc but does it work the other way round?
    Also do i need to purchased through microsoft store to get XPA feature?

    Yes, any XPA title you purchase on PC through the Windows Store is playable on Xbox as well.

    However, if you purchase it through Steam, it will not support XPA and therefor you will need to purchase again on Xbox to play it there.

    Thanks for getting back to me. I know how XPA works, but it is currently only on one platform (PC). I want to know if the progress I make before it goes to other platforms will be transferred as the XPA might not be put into place until it is running on
    multiple platforms.

    A: The Play Anywhere is a new initiative by Microsoft to combine platforms of gaming, letting Xbox gamers play on PC with any first-party Microsoft Studios published
    game that is digitally purchased and vice versa. Microsoft Simulator is an XPA title.

    To play Xbox games on your PC, the games must be designated as Xbox Play Anywhere (XPA) titles. This means that they are available to be played on both Xbox and PC platforms. You can determine if your games are XPA by visiting the official list of XPA games at the following link: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/xbox-play-anyw.... If your games are listed on this page, you can download them through the Xbox App or the Xbox Store page.
