XBox LIVE will put you with players that are like you so people like that end up in matches with people like that.

Does Playstation LIVE do this as well or is this just a snapshot of the general Playstation LIVE Community?

I played the Beta on both and they played virtually identical. I did notice the Xbox LIVE version had a few hiccups with some rubber-banding while the PSN version I did not experience anything of the like.

The Match-making System appeared to be the same as well for both. I noticed for the short time playing the PSN Community was a little more Team Oriented (even playing with randies) while the Xbox LIVE Community was more lone-wolves who wanted to end up as the
Player of the Game regardless of if the Team won or lost.

If or when it drops to $40, I'll pick it up for the PS4 just due to the above.

^ would have to disagree mate, I have DOOM on the go also, but I haven't touched it since getting Overwatch, there is just something about it that gives me that one more go feeling. I will return to DOOM eventually but I can't see it being for a while yet.

DOOM is fantastic. One of the best games to come out on the XBox ONE.

The Level Editor included with it is amazing.

However as a Single Player Experience to be enjoyed at my leisure, "Overwatch" keeps pulling me back again and again. Just so much fun.

Still curious to know what "rubber banding" is in "Overwatch" though.

I obviously can't speak for everyone but only myself and it was in Beta.

On more then a few occasions on the Xbox One Beta of Overwatch I could not move forward and with each attempt I would walk on my screen about a few feet away then be instantly teleported back to the first spot. This was annoying to say the least after dying
to it a few times while getting shot at.

After the above occurred, I immediately shut down the the Xbox One Version and tried the PSN Version. The PSN Version remained stable throughout the day. This occurred on a few days of Beta.

It was Beta after all, so I don't fault it too much.

    That's lag.

The finished product is incredibly smooth but and I have not experienced any lag myself but I have had a couple of friends from the states say "I've got lag" a couple of times.

Azrael008uk, thank you but I am quite aware of what Latency is.

And I would expect as much that it should not be an issue in the finished Product. But I'll still be picking it up for my other Console when it gets to $40 for the basic Game.

The Microsoft/Xbox online infrastructure tends to be more stable than PSN. Then you can ask yourself: Do I have a good ISP or bad ISP for speed; DSL or cable; Wired console or wireless; And, wired controller or wireless? All of these variables are potentially
tuneable and yet potentially insignificant when it comes to multiplayer systems. If there is one universal improvement it should be to wire the Xbox One over Ethernet instead of WiFi. This is because one's home WiFi network can be wildly variable in its data
rate and latency. This is particularly true with the use of smartphones and other portable devices. A wired console has minimal latency.

Spiderdust8, thank you but that's not entirely accurate. I have both Consoles wired to my Router. My Speeds are around the following from my Xbox One Test-

    Down- 47

    Up- 24

    Ping- 50

If I test from my PC it's a little faster. Typically around 57-65 down and the rest around the same.

Now keep in mind mind both Console share the exact same Network.

The Xbox One Version (Beta) was having issues with Latency. Frustrated by this I wanted to see what the PS4 Version (Beta) would or was doing at the same time. I turned off my Xbox One (it is set for Background Downloads Enabled same as my PS4) and immediately
began to play the PS4 Version (Beta), it did not have any issues in regards.

The above was on a few days and as a result I ended up playing more of the PS4 Beta then the Xbox One Beta. I would start with my Xbox One Version each day but if this started to happen I would switch to my PS4 Version and it was smooth sailing then on.

Still absolutely love this game, put in over a day now and every game is still fun and usually unique. It's probably one of the only multiplayers I've played where it goes down to the wire more often than not on who's going to win, absolutely fantastic!

    Overwatch - What To Expect

So I have the game a couple hours trial tonight. I played against AI for the most part because, well, I have a poor opinion of other players. It's not a question of winning or losing, but bad sports. On my one and only quick match game with humans, one player
had to tell everyone "You players suck". So that's it in a nutshell. Plus we know by now that there are cheaters in the game, even the console versions.

And as far as I'm concerned, everyone telling people that the game has content and depth are grossly overstating the gameplay. It's a multiplayer shooter, just like any other multiplayer shooter. There is no value in diving deep into characters because the
fights are awash in frenzied and messy action and quick character change-ups. Like other multiplayers, you may find the walking from the spawn point to your objective is the most play time you get in a match. Tags, emotes, vocals, etc., are meaningless tokens.
If you want to know a character better you can take them into the practise area. I've seen the entire game in this one evening session and I'm already finding it tedious and boring.

I was right to think that I wouldn't like this game. This game is for people who like multiplayer. It's not for everyone, nor does it "change the game". I don't think that is possible. It should be a half-price title.
