    Overwatch - What To Expect

I also haven't tried the Beta either! And I haven't done nor do I plan to, do the Tutorial. Just learn on the go. It's like instruction manuals for TV/PCs/Washing machines and the Xbox terms of conditions. Rarely anyone will read those word for word in it's
entirety. At best your skim read some of it or pretend to read it.

    :)

    Overwatch - What To Expect

I've been tempted since it came out, yet like most games these days I get annoyed by the fact they are online only. The fact I can set the bots up on a custom is a bonus though.

    Absolutely brilliant.

The best shooter since "Unreal Tournament".

    So much fun.

^ that's a huge statement to make and one i'm not sure is warranted (in my opinion) BUT i do agree that the game is great fun

I managed to pick it up dirt cheap this weekend so will have some more time with it 'post beta' this week.

I agree with Az, I haven't had this much enjoyment with a shooter in a long long time, I just hope the community survives because as we all know us console players are a fickle bunch and tend to move on to new shiny things very quickly compared to be PC
    crowd.

    Overwatch - What To Expect

While I am still on the fence about getting Overwatch, I still have a few things I find funny.

First, I played the Beta and enjoyed it to some degree. It wasn't "great" but then again it wasn't "bad". I would describe it as being competent and polished but lacking Content. It was also fun so bottom line it has a high plus there. The small child (a 5
year old almost 6) who now runs in the house seemed to enjoy the Characters and any short film that comes out in regards to Overwatch. It's Characters are each pretty well developed, individual and could be very memorable.

But here's a part that rubs me the wrong way. Overwatch has received mostly glowing praise despite it being a MP Only Experience while other Games of recent have been bashed for this same design choice. So I must ask why does the Games Industry Media and even
Gamers mostly praise Overwatch but will say in the same breath "Battlefront suxzors cuz it has no campaign"? The same could be said for Titan Fall or even Evolve if it wasn't the biggest cut-up pseudo "dlc" Game ever.

Why such a double standard, dear Gamers and Industry? Everyone does understand what they are telling Devs by actions and money when Overwatch will end up doing very well?

Seemed fun but not enough to warrant a purchase from me. Glad People have found a game to enjoy though. As far as online only shooters go Titanfall has it beat.

@ Az lol, wish I did get paid for playing games.

I enjoyed the beta but got bored quite quickly & I don't see it being any different with the full game so didn't bother.

Might pick it up in the future if there's still people playing it.

I will agree with Az, Overwatch is a fun, memorable shooter. I have heard of this game from my teacher in class, who enjoys video games. It reminded me of a Pixar movie with its wonderful character development and setting but without being childish and simplistic.
I felt like that child inside the Overwatch reveal trailer just watching it.

It reminded me of TF2 with its class settings of characters each having their own abilities and perks to help the team. I always felt like I was contributing with my team with practically any character.

I will agree that the maps are lacking in this game; I think it was to focus on the characters. Still an issue to address. To Lost, I think it's because with Star Wars' massive history of characters and setting in the lore that fans expected more, especially
from two previous games in that Battlefront franchise. While Blizzard had said they will continue to support the game post-release for free, I did think the $60 price tag was a bit much, maybe $40 like PvZ: Garden Warfare was. But I do not regret playing Overwatch,
it is something new yet familiar in the shooter genre. 9/10 to Blizzard.

    Overwatch - What To Expect

One of the things that makes "Overwatch" so great is that it's not trying to be "COD" or "Battlefield".

These games were great and new when they game out. Perks and Upgrades were novel and different and when they're done right they make for a great game.

This is a step in a different direction. You have all your tools on the table and with the variety of different character classes and their individual skills it makes for challenging, creative engaging and rewarding gameplay.

At the same time it's playful, fun, bright and entertaining and exceptionally well balanced.

People who have been playing this game for a week haven't mastered it and it's only getting bigger.

    Brilliant game. Fantastic fun.

  14. Az, It pleases me to see that someone else liked Unreal Tournament. How did they get it so wrong on the 360/ps3?

In my opinion, Overwatch multiplayer is better than Halo and COD. The maps are good. The graphics are great. The frame rate is smooth. And theres lots of characters you can change and play as during a game, each with their special abilities and the characters
    look cute.
