    Overwatch Voice Chat "Muted" Issue


    If you get in a came and out of no where everyone is muted and you can't unmute them, I recommend leaving and re-joining voice chat. If that doesn't work it means Blizzard has banned you from voice chat for a moment. If that is the case then you have to
    close Overwatch re-open it and try again. This helped for me and many others. I am sure Blizzard is working on a fix as soon as possible. Until then, use this. Thanks!

    Reported for no reason

    so I was playing overwatch and then gave helpful advice in team chat and then some random person messaged me saying I had been muted and reported so if anyone from xbox could unreport me it would be very helpful and also make it so that you can't get reported

    Havent had many people issuing commands but I immediately mute anyone using Kinect for voice chat.

    the application(and overlay) shows me i have not muted them before I go to the party voice chat, but when i join to the voice chat the app shows me i have muted other guys and i cant remove that mute

    Ok update time,

    I was able to solve the NAT issues on the xbox's. I changed them to DHCP instead of static. They both passed the network test. I still have the problem with game chat sound. When playing COD MW3 the speaker icon shows on the screen to indicate someone is
    talking but there is no sound. It is as if it is muted. I have verified headsets are not muted and gone through the voice settings and preference settings. Like i indicated before there were never any issues with game chat until i upgraded the kids to xbox
    gold, i am still at the free membership. When they play online or do party chats they have no issues. I had game lobby chat when playing Halo 4 but as soon as game started we lost all voice chat. It acts like if we do a system link LAN game the voice is muted.
