Overwatch Unable to Install - Disc possibly Unusable

When trying to insert my (honestly very old) disc copy of Overwatch Origins Edition (XB1), I keep getting the error that it is damaged and or unreadable.

I tried to insert the disc, then tried out the suggestion of downloading the original game from the Microsoft Store with the disc in but the "Install" option was entirely missing, with only the "CHOOSE EDITION - Not sold separately" option, which when pressed, would just have me select the OW Origins Edition again and again and didn't get me anywhere.

I'm not sure if this disc is an entirely lost cause, but the option to buy the game in the first place simply doesn't exist (even without the disc inserted) so i'm not entirely sure what's going on...

(On a side note, something else similar to this happened where I simply could not install a brand new Forza Horizon V copy onto my Xbox One, but my mom easily could on her Xbox One S - I find it very likely my Xbox is simply aging and can no longer install/read disc content, which is an entirely different subject on its own)

Here is the MS Store page for OW: OE with the disc inserted, and a picture of the back of the disc itself (with any numbers that could mean anything censored).

I have already tried this, it’s the same situation for that account. Although a factor could be that we had a disc of overwatch but the disc got scratched and unusable, so we got the digital version and have been using that since.

Install Halo 4 to your hard drive if possible, as it will possibly help with disc reading. However, if it is unreadable, and you're unable to install it to your hard drive the only option is to get the game again, and as Hassassinade said, you should head
on over to

If you manage to install a game then you can still be affected by scratches on a disc. If the scratch goes across the security/boot sector of the disc then it is possible it could still prevent you from playing as it will be unable to perform the security
check required for installed games.
