Overwatch Open Beta codes/Client download

Hello.

I've preordered overwatch digital trough Xbox store 25.04.2016 and should be granted access to open beta.

I havent recived my friend code and the beta client is not avalible for download. It says bundle only.

Do we need a seperate code to download client?

When will I get my friend code?

I've hard reset Xbox, removed profile, cleared mac adress and cleared blu ray storage. No luck

Can someone please clarify the release information

i would like to know also, i pre ordered on the 27th.

 

Microsoft support keeps saying we should check our email's frequently... Which means we're gonna get it by mail. But Support on twitter says that our accounts will be flagged by 4 PM EST time.

 

Your message will come via console in an Xbox message. Check those not your email. If you haven't received your friend code then you've likely not received your wave yet. You should be able to download the beta client on or before 6:00 PM PST tonight provided
you did pre-order before the 29th.

 

I received my friend code but no available beta for my main account? Doesn't make sense.

 

Hydro thank you for your reply. This is what i'm hoping is true. What bothers me is that some have been able to preload the beta client. A more informative post regarding the issue with more details would still be much appreciated.

 

Sorry, the account you purchased the game on should be "flagged" with no key needed. The beta app should open up for download on or before 4:00 PM PST.... I mis-spoke when I said 6.

KSG. From what i've read, friends who redeem the friend code downloads the client just fine. Another thing that seems a bit off.

 

Hydro thank you for the link. It seems to have updated information regarding Xbox one. Lets just hope MS had flagged us and that the client is ready for download at release. Still seems off that some have been lucky enough to preload the client.
