Overwatch LC-202 error

    Overwatch LC-202 error


    Ever since the halloween update last week my game will no longer connect to game server from the title screen. Here are the things I’ve done to troubleshoot the issue.

    *my xbox is hardwired to my internet

    *Hard restarted my xbox one

    *restarted my router

    *restarted my modem

    *restarted them all at one in order of use

    *checked for another game update (none)

    *uninstalled the game and reinstalled (which updated again)

    *opened up ports on my router that the blizzard support page said they needed open

    *plugged my modem directly into my xbox without the router in the hardwired internet chain

    *unlinked my blizzard account from my xbox and then restarted everything and then relinked it.

    *did a speed and network test which showed 100+ download and 30+ upload

    *played multiple other multiplayer games and they all worked fine

    It randomly started working for a few hours and now it is doing it again and wont let me log in to the game server. It continues to respond with the LC-202 error. Any help would be appreciated.

    I have already contacted Blizzard support multiple times and they continue to send me here after seeing I’ve already tried everything on their troubleshooting page for that error. The same list of stuff i posted here which matches everything in the article
    you provided. I’ve already done all that and nothing appears to help.

    Hello Laws,

    The reason Blizzard should be the ones to help you is because all other games work as you mentioned, and that error code is Blizzard specific. The only other troubleshooting step I can recommend at this point would be connecting your console to a different
    network and then testing the game out.
