Overwatch is going to kill my XBOX ONE

Since we got the digital download everything should have been simple. But it is the same thing every time, failing to connect.

The only thing that works is restarting the system.

All summer long my son was restarting the game sometimes 2-3 times a day just to play.

We messaged support and after resetting the sytem 5 times it was stated that we should just restart the system EVERY TIME he wants to play. They even told me that it would be okay to do so.

Now I will not let him play the game to my knowledge as it has on one occurance required 5 restarts, the system was completely locked up!

Blizzard spent nearly an hour with me unistalling, checking settings, reinstalliing, Lance, the guy was super helpful. But in the end nothing changed.

Can we get a hard copy of the game?

Because as it stands right now, if I see that game in the recently played feed I snap, I lose it.

The XBOX now locks up, and that is not right, I don't have $350 + tax to get a new one, and if we did get a new one, I would try overwatch once, if it still acted up, then I am calling you to explain to him why he cannot play the game.

Sick and tired is a mild way of putting it.

Sorry for the aggression but it was making a funny noise last week after he tried playing, 4 restarts over almost an hour...locked up I tell you.

Overwatch Digital Licence

I bought Overwatch licence for my son to play on windows 10

Now I'm going to get him an xbox one,

Should I purchase a new copy of overwatch to play on xbox one ?

Or I can use my win10 code ?

Sorry to hear it. First off, I wanted to mention that it is more than likely that that game is not what's causing the issues with your console.

If you have tried troubleshooting steps with Blizzard including power cycling the console and deleting and uninstalling the game then please try doing a factory reset of the console to see if that helps. There is an option to keep installed games and apps
so you won't need to redownload them.

Also, if you don't already I would recommend using an ethernet cable for the console instead of wireless as ethernet is always a better connection.

I use assault for everything. Predator Missile - Attack Helicopter - AH-6 Overwatch. I also you the Hardline perk. It's very easy to get 4 kills in a row which unlocks my predator missile. I hold on to it for one more kill then drop the missile to get the
helicopter. The nice thing about the Predator Missile is if you die whilst locating the drop it still counts toward your streak so you then get attack helicopter. If you manage to stay alive it takes 2 kills using the helicopter to unlock the overwatch. On
free for all I'm consistently getting 30 kills and less than 10 deaths.
