Overwatch GOTY bonus content missing

I was playing Overwatch during the free weekend, so the game was already installed on my Xbox. I decided to buy it, so I bought the digital GOTY version from the MS store site and linked it to my account. After restarting the game I received the bonus skins
that come with the Origin Edition, but not the loot boxes that come with the GOTY Edition. I gave it a day for the content to show up, but it’s still missing.

game says dlc is missing but its not it happens randomly

for me it would be Titanfall just for its gameplay alone, but still feel like they're missing too much content. so Sunset Overdrive is my GOTY.

 

I would try contacting Xbox Support to see if your loot boxes are still processing. Choose phone or chat:

It is possible that not all of the extra content for this game has been installed. Can you try selecting this game in My games & Apps on your console and instead of pressing A to launch the game press the Menu on the controller and then select Manage Game
and in the next widow that opens you should see a Ready to install section just check this to make sure all extra content for this game has actually been installed.

 

I tried that and nothing was showing up as ready to install or anything. So what I did was check the GOTY store page from within the Xbox to see if it showed up as purchased, and it did. I pressed play game from the GOTY store page and the loot boxes showed
up. Pretty weird, but I’m glad they work now. Thanks for the assistance.
