overwatch glitched out

Discus and support overwatch glitched out in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; when i was alerted that overwatch has a update, it said to restart console and update it. i went on to my games and apps to download the new update....     overwatch glitched out


    when i was alerted that overwatch has a update, it said to restart console and update it. i went on to my games and apps to download the new update. But it wasnt on there so i loaded up the game (overwatch) to play it but it forced me out of the game and
    said cancelled. I then went to my games and apps and overwatch had auto deleted of off my console but when i try to download it it pops up on my screen saying intalliation stopped try later that was 1 hour ago im quite concerned

    Sorry to hear about the issue with Overwatch not installing or launching.

    Is your Xbox One console up to date?

    Here's how to check

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select Settings and the All settings.

    3. Select System and then click on Updates.

    If there is an available update, you'll see an option that states "Console update available" clicking on that will begin the update process. More details on Xbox One console updates

    Aside from that, if this is a disc based game. Have you tried to install the game while the console is disconnected from Xbox Live and the Internet?

    How do i gift a game i already own?

    I do not see an option to buy or gift Overwatch Origins editon in the Microsoft or Xbox store. I own the game as well so I signed out of my account to see if it was a glitch. After signing out I found a notation under the redeem code box that states Overwatch
    Origins Edition is currently not available. My guess is unless you have a code the Origins Edition is no longer available for purchase.

    If the GOTY edition is on disc remember your disc has to be in your Xbox, I believe you're trying to play Overwatch without the disc so the game isn't assuming you're trying to play the trial (digital download)
