    I read online that overwatch was free to play for a couple of weeks and i really wanted to try the game out.. when i install then try to play the trial it asks if i own the game or if i have a disc....anyone??

    Overwatch Free Play

    Step 1 would be to ensure that you have Xbox Live Gold which you will need in order to play the free trial.

    Step 2 would be to follow the following directions

    • Between April 16 and 23, turn on your Xbox One and log in to your Xbox Live account.
    • Go to the Xbox One Store, then select Search.
    • In the search field, type in Overwatch.
    • Select Overwatch®: Origins Edition from the search results, then select Free Trial.

    Always be sure to double check your dates and make sure the game is actually live for Free Play Days as often as possible, sometimes they change. If the game isn't live for Free Play then you will get that notification/error. If the game is in free play
    I know that sometimes, because its happened to me before, a gameshare with a friend or if someone has previously installed the disc on their account while gamesharing that can occasionally effect your abilities to play a Free Play Game, though this instance
    is rare I believe.

    Hello, as far as I can see there is no news on Overwatch currently being a part of free play days, or that they are running any free trial.

    What dates did the post you seen say? Could you possibly link it?

    My Overwatch game is not purchased anymore.

    Overwatch was free to play for a whole weekend 18-21 November 2016. If you want to play the game again you have to purchase it.
    Thanks for replying, I know about the free weekend and I played it aswell, but I bought Overwatch on Black Friday, so I should be able to play it.
