Overwatch causing people to report me and caused me to have the Avoid me rep.

I have got the biggest issue with xbox right now.

There is a massive flaw in the reputation system, and its taken its toll on my account big time.

I have an issue where my account has been set to "avoid me" when it really shouldn't have been. I've been on my best behaviour since my last chat ban, i literally barely message anyone. Then i played overwatch, and i got a really good team together. The
issue stems from here where people who play against us report myself and my friends because they assume it will not match them with us again. This has now put my account at the dreaded Avoid me status.

I learned from my past mistakes, i don't even message many people unless they're friends of mine, its just not worth it the amount of time and money i've put into this account to risk losing it all due to a flawed system.

Any help would be appreciated and i will provide any amount of needed information i possibly can.

is there anyway my profile can be reviewed? My rep is avoid me because I’m a widow maker and hanzo main in overwatch and people report me because they’re not a meta pick. My rep should not be avoid me because I’m not playing a character they want. I don’t
even talk trash to team.

this reputation system needs to be fixed and my “avoid me” rep needs to be gone.

 

Flawed Repuation System "avoid me"

My gamertag is , and my accounts reputation has fallen from good player to avoid me within only about a month unfairly. I haven't been playing Xbox for too long, I've had this account for less than a year and all I do is play overwatch. Many other
people in the overwatch community get put on avoid me due to our player base abusing the report system. This community knows to report people constantly for 'unsporting behaviour' or 'cheating' on multiple accounts so that people they dislike can't play the
game. I received 40 unsporting reports within two days and went from good player to avoid me in 24 hours. From then on I continued to be constantly reported once I managed to get off avoid me because people would see my 'needs work' rep and report for unsporting
or cheating so that I could be back on avoid me. This literally happens to so many people in the overwatch community unfairly it's getting ridiculous that I and many others are paying for a service we can't even use due to the "avoid me" matchmaking ban ://

Ngocphi I've seen you in many threads like this and you clearly just have one opinion on this.

My behaviour isn't a problem i am literally doing nothing wrong. I am just good at a game and people who lose don't like it, so they report me in hopes they don't play me again.

I don't think you understand just how toxic people on games such as overwatch can be.

Daft Badger - what can i do from there? i need to do something about this as clearly i've been targeted and now have had my gamertag ruined.

 

I know a bunch of the people who reported me also. I have a video on my profile of me getting a team kill on Overwatch. After that match some of the other team joined the party and we all said gg, nice game. Then they literally said they have all reported
me and my friends because they don't want to play us again. There was no argument, words exchanged or anything that could be classed as a violation of the ToS. They simply left the party after saying that. Which proves how flawed this is. I have a video of
the match where i got the team kill, I have friends whom were in the party and heard them say this and that is instantly 6 reports which are completely unjustified.

How can being good at a game now be a punishable offence?

 

Being good at a game is not a punishable offence.

It tells you how to improve your rep via the link I posted & how to avoid being put into negative rep.

That's your only option,no one will reset your rep for you.

 

The reputation system is not due to an enforcement action because of a ToS violation. It is an indication of how others in the community feel about your game play.

As stated previously, there is nothing anyone in the forums can do to help you.

 

Clearly being good at a game has got me punished though lol They are reporting me and my friends so they don't have to lose and now im ***.

It tells me nothing, its vague and unclear.

Its semi useless.

 

So people can report me for beating them and that "indicates" that im a bad player, because i win?

Do you not see how flawed this is? Like seriously.

 

The Xbox reporting system is kinda crap, i know it sucks but its something that cant really be fixed.

You are getting reported because either you communicated and behaved poorly

So wining badly

Not because you are wwining

Win poorly you will get reported

Change your behaviour it's not rocket science

 

If you were wining correctly you would be like the 99.9% of players on livr

 

Im back up to good player now, so this thread is no longer needed.

However i really don't understand the logic in your responses?

I am unaware how it has been interpreted when you read what i say however you're literally hell bent on blaming me and seem to be unaware of the blatant abuse this system has.

As i said all i did was win, i don't tbag when i kill someone, i don't taunt or emote, i just simply win. People don't like that so they avoid me in hope that it doesn't matchmake us again, that is all. They even said this to me when they joined the party
afterward and we had a decent chat about the match, we literally spoke about the match said good game and they ended with "we are avoiding you lot so we don't play you again." So no i don't think its because of anything i have done, but because the system
is so poor they think thats an acceptable way to stop matchmaking. I don't hold a grudge against them however, as for some reason this system has removed the option the 360 had where you could simply say this player is too good, and now all it give is only
negative options.

If you don't understand this, and simply want to try and point your finger at me some more go ahead, I know i didn't do anything to warrant the avoid me status i had, however like i said i am now happily back out of it due to simply playing the game with
people who don't abuse the system like the ones i come up against did.
