Overwatch Beta Key Issues

Redeemed my Overwatch key yesterday, checked today to put it on to install and there's nothing on my console.

Have confirmed with Support that the code is redeemed and tied to my account and was referred to here.

Please advise.

Haven't received the spare Overwatch beta key for preordering

I preordered overwatch to get access into the overwatch beta and have not received the spare beta key you get for a friend. The key was, at the latest, supposed to get here yesterday.

Xbox support sent me to this forum for help. Thank you

 

Accidentally deleted beta key

I accidentally deleted my Overwatch beta key. Is there any way i can get it back?

 

try to search the store for overwatch beta and download it there

 

I've done that, still shows as Bundle Only?

If you redeemed the key for Overwatch Beta and support confirmed that it's tied to your account it should be in your "Ready to Install" section. Go to your games and apps, select games, and scroll all the way to the right. There you'll find all the games
you've redeemed but haven't installed.

 

That's what I would think however it's not showing up, Support suggest waiting for a replacement code.

 

Hi there! If the game key was redeemed on your account it should be there. Did you redeem it via console? If so do you have other accounts on that console? Check those other accounts to see if the beta is listed there under "ready to install". Also, try
the key again to see if it says something to the effect of "already used".

Xbox generally does not send more than one key out to someone, and given this would have been given from a friend and not sent from Xbox directly makes it more difficult.

After speaking to Support the advice given was to come here and post what was discussed.

There is nothing in the Ready to Install, nor is there anything queued, only have my account linked to my console.

The code says already used when attempting to redeem again, Support did confirm that it was associated to my account.

Was told that an official representative would source me another code.

 

Any update from an Official?

 

If a code is linked to your account you wouldn't be able to redeem it. Trying to redeem a code linked to your account would say "You already own this item". So even if a mod gave you a new key, it wouldn't work. If you go to the store and find the beta
it should say "Already Purchased".

If the store item doesn't say already purchased and it's not in your "ready to install", then it's possible support told you misinformation. If you redeemed the code on a console check other accounts, if you redeemed it online make sure you didn't have another
account logged in by mistake.

PS. Mods usually work from old to new posts, or bumping threads usually causes a longer wait for mod response if one is needed.

Hydro Skillet's last post has some useful information and is likely the case. There may have been some confusion but if the game isn't showing in your Ready to Install it sounds like the code may have been redeemed on a different account. Be sure to check
there. If you're still not able to find it please let us know.
