I keep trying to enjoy Forza 5 multiplayer, but nine times out of ten I get into races where most people think that to overtake they have to make as much contact as they can with you and ram you out of the way, if they don't get you off the road the first
time they keep trying until your off, even worse is when your on an open clear road with plenty of room and they still head for you.

I know we all have bumps now and again but some people just take the p##s, it's not going to hurt to wait for the right time to pass, because when you do a legit overtake it feels so much better.

Not a surprise, in my eyes it has become the single best xbox original overtaking Halo in my Mind.

The game is amazing and has topped any expectation i had so far, with more to come.

  5. @pnsfneo - That's a good way to get banned.

If you have a problem with another racer that is intentionally crashing or griefing other racers - report the player, block the player, leave and join another lobby. If you retaliate or "join 'em" - you might just find yourself getting banned because someone
    else reported you.

  6. If you're in a lobby like this, pick a heavier car and learn the pit maneuver. lol

There s a huge difference between minor unintentional paint scratching to blatant malicious ramming.

Quite honestly, I've always hated it when other players slam into you, on purpose or on accident. When I used to play online all the time I always had the mindset that unless I messed up or someone did me in, I was going to win the race and usually, I was
right. Historically, when in a race where other players are less than skilled or malicious, I just leave.

Only race in lobbies where damage is on (not only cosmetic)

^What he said. Also, can you really get "banned" for bumping people? I don't play multiplayer so I'm not asking because I'm guilty or anything, but it seems to me that if someone wants to race dirty that's on them. I can either play in career mode or play
in a lobby that has damage on. They're not technically cheating and as long as they aren't screaming at me or cursing me out while they do it, are they violating TOS?

  11. Players are not going to get banned for innocent bumping or making a mistake and causing a crash. But, once a player starts crashing into others intentionally it becomes a situation where that player could get banned. Don't be afraid to play online and make
mistakes - just say you're sorry and try better next time.

...but don't get all emotional when someone else knocks you off the track and start a crusade to "get them back". Everyone on Xbox One has game DVR and FM5 has saved replays so there's always a chance that someone will report you for the bad behavior even
if you're not the one that started it. If another player is causing problems - best to just report that player and find a new lobby rather than try to retaliate.

Word... I don't ever play online, though. I was just curious. I prefer to just play the career mode. And I try to avoid contact as much as possible so I don't get the exclamation point next to my lap time indicating a "dirty lap." Almost always impossible
to avoid incidental contact throughout an entire race, though. Especially when Drivatars slam on their brakes going into turns the way they do.

The only way to get clean laps is to either lead by a huge amount or do laps in free play or test drive as I've noticed you still get a dirty lap for drafting someone or if someone is drafting off you.

I tried online once, one car kept glitching into the air 10 meters, there was no racing it was a very laggy demolition derby, this is what happens when people host the game, they really expect you to pay £40 a year for this?

  15. @Tox - So you tried online ONCE and noticed ONE car lagging and based on that ONE experience have come to the conclusion that ALL online races are like this?
