Overlord 2 Games with Gold

Hi,

I'm a subscriber to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, so I have all my options checked (including, of course, payment methods). The game Overlord 2 is now available for free with Games with Gold, but it's impossible to complete the (free) transaction in order
to download it on my Xbox One X.

Since We're dealing with the Overlord 2 subject, I also have a physical copy of the game, I installed it on my XBox One X, but after the title, all I get is the "loading" screen for.....I've waited for 20 minutes and it was still stuck.

Any suggestions on how to solve the first issue ? On my XBox One X there's no child filter/protection whatsoever and all my payment methods are working.

Alternatively, are you aware of the issue with the physical copy of the game? Is there any workaround?

Have you tried the various other ways of downloading Overlord 2? Like through PC, Xbox 360, and the mobile app? If you have used an Xbox 360 before, then it would be advisable to check your payment options on there, because the Xbox One and the 360 marketplaces
are separate, so any such discrepancies between the two will conflict. Therefore one will work with your payment info and one won't. Typically its the Xbox 360 games that will cause the most trouble by not downloading and you'll get that dreaded spinning disc.

As far as the other issue is concerned, I don't know why the disc-based version isn't working, but try and search up a developer forum if you can. Alternatively you can try uninstalling the game, clearing cache, and reinstalling the disc version, and seeing
if that helps.

I have tried to "pay" for the free game from my Pc with two different methods, but the transaction screen is blank.

Also, in order to test if there was an issue with Xbox One vs. Xbox 360, I bought from my X Box One another Xbox 360 title (Call of Juarez) and the transaction was succesful.

Alas, my Xbox 360 is elsewhere so I can't check that option. I'll give one final try with the mobile app, but my expectations are quite low.

As for the disc-based version, I'll double check on the developers' site. Thanks for the tips, by the way

Sorry to hear it. Can you please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds till it shuts down to see if that helps? Also, if it's a disc based game make sure there are no scratches on it. A scratch could be causing this issue as well.
