    overheating causing apps to not work?


    me being the dummy that i am, i set and played my old 360 on top of my xbox1 first gen. ive since tried hard and factory resetting my console and the issue still prevails.

    when i attempt to open an app (disney + and Elder scrolls online) it starts to open and prompts the intro screen, but will not advance to a loading screen, before crashing/ booting me back to the home menu.

    No, there is not and its really not a good idea due to the limited Hardware of consoles. Causing your system to over work can causes crashes and overheating issues.

    See if your console is overheating? Probably hardware issue causing it to overheating and it forces a restart.
