  1. Overheated, now can't connect

My 360 showed two red lights on the front, so I cleaned out the area and gave it time to cool down. Now when it powers up, everything looks and sounds fine (no red lights, wireless controllers appear to connect, etc) but I am getting absolutely no input
on my tv. I'm using HDMI to connect. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

    :)

Also make sure the power brick isn't overheating. Clear any dust and ensure it is connected properly.

    Xbox Overheated

    Hello,

My xbox one s overheated and it turned off. I turned it back on not knowing what happend and then the fan turned on and made a crazy loud sound because I think it was going very fast trying to cool the xbox down. Then I turned it off again and put a big
fan next to it aimed at the xbox and have left it off for 10 mins.

What caused this? Was it just to warm in my room or is it a serious problem. Should I bring it back to the store?

    Thanks

  4. Overheated, now can't connect

Update: Also, the center light on the front keeps flashing green, even when I believe I've turned the console off. Not sure what that means, but I wanted to add the most information possible.

  5. The blinking green light means it's still not ready to start yet

Can you please do the following steps

    • Disconnect all cables and the harddrive of your Xbox and place your xbox in a cool room (make sure it's dry)
    • Check if the powerbrick itself has enough ventilation and that the ventilation holes are not covered with dust
    • If the brick is in a small place please move it to a better ventilated area
    • After letting your console cool for an hour connect everything again
    • Boot it up and see if it works
If the above does not work your console will need repair which is free if you still have warranty, if not you can still request a repair but you'll have to pay for it

    Red light help!!

    It's overheating:

    1. Unplug from power source then clean all power connections on brick and box. Loose connections cause overheating.

    2. While unplugged, use compressed air to blow through air vents on the brick.

    3. Before reinstalling, place brick on flat, hard surface with air vents up. Resting on carpet can help overheating.

    4. If problem persists after that, you need your brick repaired or a new brick.

    Hope it helps

My Xbox 360 Slim keeps shutting off every 15 minutes or so.

It's worked perfectly ever since I unplugged that USB rocksmith jack. I still had my plug-n-play connected and it had no problems whatsoever. That's just the weirdest thing... On a slightly related note, my roommate has had "overheating" issues with his
Halo 3 Special Edition. Now I use quotes for a reason, and it's because it keeps claiming that its overheating (shuts off his box, gives him 2 red quadrants, when he reboots it, it tells him that it's overheating, etc.) but it's cold as ice to the touch, it's
well ventilated, it's on it's own surge protector, and we've done everything we can think to do to keep it from "overheating." It was acting up just as bad as mine was, so is there a possibility that its something that simple, or is it much more complicated
    than that?
