Overheat issue

Hi i have had a similar problem with a couple of my games before it could be the insides of your xbox is dirty i suggest you rake it apart and clean it out after i did that i never had over heating problems again

I suggest getting an Intercooler. See if the Xbox gets hot. Another thing also, putting an Xbox 360 on Carpet can make an Xbox overheat causing the problem. Thanks for posting this.

I heard rumors that GTA V was so demanding that it was crashing earlier model 360's. It's possible that BF4 is doing the same thing to your Console. Have you played any other 'Next gen' games recently, or at least any games that have been released this year.

Different games run differently on the Xbox 360. These games such as Battlefield 4 use almost all of the available resources on the Xbox 360. It's quite possible that your console is working harder than it would for a game like Batman that isn't multiplayer
and probably doesn't have so many things going on at once. More than likely due to this, the console is working harder, thus generating more heat. You may want to try to clean out the fans by running a vacuum cleaner over it and leaving a fan by it and see
if that helps at all.

If that doesn't work, you'll probably need to send the console in for repair by following the directions
here.
