I have been pointing out that achievement system is being left in the dust on the Xbox One, the last addition brought the rarity, which was cool and all, but not enough for a system that, imo, needs a significant overhaul. To add to this ‘down way hill’ about achievements situation, I noticed that statistics are literally removed from newer games, which is pretty disappointing, considering that we can’t even know how many hours/days we played in a given game anymore. The situation is even worse when we consider that, even MS first part games, like Gears 5, doesn’t have any statistic. With that said, my suggestions on how the system could be improved follows:

(1) We need something like Playstation trophy to indicate the games we completed 100%. It could be a diamond for each game we get 100% on the base game and a dedicated section to show our completions.

(2) Game completion, achievement wise, shouldn't be updated as DLC is added. It is unfair you complete the base game, then dlc is added and you lost any evidence that you got 100% on that game first when it was released. The addition of a trophy like would mitigate this issue.

(3) Overhaul the dedicated achievements tab in the profile, add a section with the games we got 100% there (represented by a badge – the diamonds as cited above, for example), add more stats and charts about weekly and monthly achievements earned, our last achievement earned, the ones that we are tracking, lets us sort achievements by games to see our progress considering all series entries. That would be a really dedicated achievement section, made for achievement hunters and fans.

(4) All games should have standard stats, like the amount of time played, at least. I noticed that things are getting so bad that no stats are being added/tracked in newer games.

(5) As you complete a game or specific achievements, developers should be incentivized to unlock exclusive wallpapers, themes, varied game arts, avatar items, etc., just like it used to be on the 360. One of my coolest moments on 360 was unlocking avatar items beating Halo on legendary.
