Overcharge a play and charge kit?

Hey gang! Forgot and left my controller plugged in to charge overnight - is it possible to overcharge a play and charge kit? I know some standard rechargeable batteries lose life if they stay on the charger after they're full, but other chargers will cut
off.

Charging Battery Packs

Batteries cannot overcharge. Once they are charged the charger basically switches itself off, so no need to worry.

It would be very un wise to try to charge rechargebles in this method. U could potentially explode your batteries from overcharging them as well u have no idea as to what voltage specs are required for charging as the duration of the charge.

MSFT PNC kits have built in voltage regulators, cut off overcharging sensors and led indicators to when they are fully charged.

U will be better off buying rechargible batteries with a charge kit. I'd only but the PNC kits if your a competitive gammer and like having hard line connection.

 

I can't say for sure, but it is my belief that the controller stops charging at full charge as the little orange LED on the plug goes white when charged.

 

Thanks man! I was cautiously optimistic that might be the case, since the LED changes, but wanted to make sure.

 

I wander too. On the website of Microsoft it says it doesn't overcharge when it hits the white light
