    Im looking to purchase an 1TB X console. Im concerned seeing so many refurbished/renewed systems for sale. Ive only had issues with my 360 in the past(who hasnt) however id like to know what the long term quality and reliabilty is for the current console.

    Hey there!

    One thing to keep in mind, is that the people who have issues with particular hardware usually are the most vocal, while those that have no issues with the product aren't usually visible in an online community. I'm willing to bet a large number of people
    have never had any issues with their devices compared to the vocal minority that have had issues.

    From my personal experience, I'm still using an original Xbox One that is approaching it's 6th birthday, and it's still going strong. I've had little to no issues over the years, and anything that I have had problems with were easily fixed through the correct
    troubleshooting. The good news, if you do run into problems, there is a great team of support staff and Xbox Ambassadors willing to help you through whatever might be the issue. And if you're purchasing new, the warranty on your device covers you for a decent
    amount of time if there truly is a hardware deficiency.

    All good points, im just going off for sale listings citing refurb or renewed. I filter the out the (vocal problem people) its electronics theres bound to be some issues. I have 2 other consoles bought new no issues.

    Personally I've never had any issues with my Xbox consoles. Like all gaming consoles they come with a limited 1 year warranty (longer in certain regions) and great customer service. Since the Series X is being released this fall now is the perfect time to
    get great deals on the One X.

    Why bother with XBox Live?

    Tbh I love xbox live as a service, free games, discount, a usually reliable and stable service for gaming and apps and overall the cost is minimal
