Over three days and Live Gold Membership still isn't activated?

We have an Xbox One. We signed up for a Live Gold membership using a credit card and it said we would get the first month as a free trial (but the was a credit card entered and it is set to auto renew). We did this around lunch time on Friday, over 3 full
days ago. Online it says we have a subscription, but from the console it does not allow us to do anything that needs a membership (multiplayer, play downloaded games we had codes for, etc.). When we try to do these things it always prompts us to buy a gold
membership or get a free trial. When you try to sign up for the free trial from the console after being prompted, it says you already have one. I chatted with support Saturday night, about 30 hours after signing up and they told me it takes 24 hours to activate
and to just wait (after we did a full system reboot to make sure it wasn't that). How long do we need to wait? Seems crazy it should take so long? Is there something going on with the servers? (I have noticed a lot of weird glitchy things and connections errors
both on the Xbox and in my Live account online)? If it's down, I just want to know it's down. If it is going to take 5 days, I'd just rather know that from the get-go.

Xbox Live Membership

When I purchased my xbox 360 console it came packaged with a code for three free months of xbox live gold. I signed up for this less than three months ago (two months and fifteen days ago to be exact) yet my membership has already run out. I understand that
15 more days of xbox live gold is not a huge deal, but I should still have my membership. Why did my membership run out early? What can I do to get the rest of my three months?

 

If I were you I would have contacted my CC company and filed a chargeback to get my refund.

There was no charge yet as the deal said the first month would be free, but it seems like the free month is going to be over before the thing even gets activated!

Day 4 and still no XBL. Two calls to support. I would love to drop it but we already spent all the $$$ on the console and games and without XBL, many of the games don't work and the ones that do are limited. Argh.

 

Up to 5 full days and still no XBL Gold. Still prompting me to signup for it but still not allowing me to re-signup because then it acknowledges I already have an account. Still can't do multiplayer or play some downloaded games.

I am getting ***. I don't have time to chat with support again right now as it usually require 30-60 minutes so I am really hoping someone from support manages these forums and helps out...

 

I am now on 8 days without XBL Gold getting activated! They told me to wait, that is usually takes 24-48 hours, but this is nuts. I am trying to contact support, but the last two times I tried, I got no where. So I am reaching out here one more time.

I just did a total reboot (again) and it did not help.

Says I have a Gold membership in my MS account and has my credit card info set to auto-renew.

The console seems to think otherwise.

Someone please help!
