Over-the-air dvr

Thank you for coming to the forums today, I'd be happy to provide some information.

I don't believe that functionality was ever implemented after being put on hold back in 2016 and I couldn't find anything online stating that it was added, so it's possible they just dropped that entirely to focus on other higher-fan requested features and
just never came back to it.

The reason they probably didn't bring it back is because there are third party apps like Tablo that offer the same service but you still need a Tablo DVR device for it to work.

I could be wrong since I don't know from personal experience but based on the information that is available, this feature was never implemented after being announced in 2015. Here are the links I looked over:

^^^Too late. Your time was in the months after the one was released. When the gaming media started throwing out the meme that MS was somehow pushing media more than games with the new console. The anti-MS trolls latched on to it and the poor sales followed.
I know MS has the stats to prove how much users use their consoles for media (i.e. not actually playing games)...I know those numbers are high (sample your own friends user base, bet they are watching netflix, hbo, vudu, etc. a lot). The writing was on the
wall as soon as matrick left and spencer came on board. There have been many, many, posts here in the forums about missing or needed media functions...they must not be large enough to influence sales.

I was so crushed when I heard no OTA DVR function after I've been waiting so long. It really makes me disappointed in Xbox because you are so right, they do stuff like this all the time it seems like. They are really getting a bad reputation for this. What's
funny is the One was really starting to be the all-in-one entertainment device for my family like the One set out to be. SO FRUSTRATING!

What do I have to do to show Xbox that this matters?

I'll have to take a look at it more. Looked at some reviews but not many last night. How many hours does it say you have with 16gb of storage?
