    Information on how smoking can damage your xbox 360.

    Today i have learned that smoking near your xbox can seriously damage the lens in your xbox, and the 'open tray error' is majorly caused by the smoke damage.

    1) smoke residue coats connector edges

    2) smoke residue builds up on the circuit boards

    3) smoke residue coats trimmer controls

    4) smoke residue holds moisture/humidity

    so watch out, not only does it affect your own health, it affects your xbox.

    Anyone peel off the warning sticker below disk drive yet?

    Removed mine about a week after. No residue

    I'm not sure if it accumulates or not, but I would advise to avoid forgetting it, in case it does happen I advise to pay the outstanding amount as quickly as possible and after that stopping the auto renewal, since if nothing is done this will eventually
    will result in the account being suspended for payment issues.

    Best way to pay the outstanding amount as quickly as possible via

    You could have outstanding fees on your Microsoft account, so when an amount that is sufficient shows up in your account balance...the outstanding fees are being taken care for by themselves. The best way to look into this would be to look at your billing
    history manually online and see what's going on. Also check what status you're subscriptions are on. It could be set to pay portions if there is money available. My Xbox Live used to get paid that way, because I used Xbox Dollar Gift Cards a lot when I was
    younger and the residual would carry over (its a very odd payment method but it exists.)

    xbox 360 fan and console stays on after pressing power button with background downloads on

    This could be in combination with the console expelling residual heat after shutdown.
