    OUTRAGEOUS! I have to buy a Gold subscription just to migrate my game saves to new Xbox One?!


    Why does each member of my family have to pay for a subscription Xbox Live Gold just to upload game saves to the cloud? Why is there no option to import game saves via USB device on the Xbox One? Why is this so hard? I'm ready to return my new Xbox One if
    this is the way the Microsoft disrespects their customers.

    Will account migration affect gold subscription

    So I have made a UAE account on xbox live and it has a gold subscription So I am going to migrate so if I do an account migrate will my gold affect the action?

    Need more details about Xbox Live account migration to Xbox One

    Hello guys,

    I currently have a few months of gold subscription remaining in my account plus a few dollars balance.

    Will all those migrate to the new Xbox One live account ?

    I know that digital games will not migrate due to compatibility issues, but I found no answer about the remaining gold and money balance.

    Can you please post any link containing more details about what will and what will not migrate ?

    If you mean uploading your saves to the cloud on the 360 for backwards compatible games then you've always needed a gold sub in order to use the cloud on the 360,that's nothing new.

    As for your usb idea,try posting it in the feedback forums here

    i also have question about game pass. My subscription for gold just renewed this month. I have a promotional code for one month of game pass ultimate. Now in the game pass faq it says when subscribing to game pass the account is upgraded and all the remaining
    gold subscription migrated over. So my question is if i cancel game pass after one month will i go back to xbox live gold or do i need to resubscribe.
    Hello welcome to the forums! In this case if you have a active Xbox Live Gold membership your subscription will migrate to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. So in this case you will lose your Xbox Live Gold and when your Xbox GamePass Ultimate expire you will need
    to resubscribe again.

    plus remember if for example you have 12 months of Xbox Live Gold, when you migrate your subscription the system will tell you how many months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate you will get!

    I'm not sure what you mean by migrating your Gold, as account migration is no longer functional and Gold Time is non transferable between subscriptions, nor are achievements, DLC, or save files.
