    Outrageous Enforcement sanction


    So my son was playing Rainbow Six Siege with some friends when he got into an argument with a player that started insulted him. I totally disagree with those behaviors and even if my son was not the one who initiated the argument, I still sanctioned him
    at home and he's not allowed to play for a week. Of course my son used strong language and the other player too.

    However, I was sanctioned to 1 week without being able to chat with anybody nor able to send any messages. I think this is outrageous as I am now punished because of the strong language that my son did use against another player. I am trying to play Destiny
    2 but I can't because I am sanctioned for something that I didn't do.

    I did take my own actions at home and my son was given a disciplinary action but I don't get why I get punished by Xbox Live for a week and now unable to play games with my friends Online because we can't talk and communicate to do some missions in Destiny2.

    I pay a lot of money to be part of Gold Membership on Xbox Live and my children are using the same account as I do because it gives me more control on what they play/buy and who they talk to. I tried to apply for a review on my case with enforcement but
    it seems I am not eligible because I can't describe the circumstances anywhere and it keeps sending me back to the home page.

    This sanction is unfair and despite that I may not have the right solution, I think that Xbox Live should find a better way to solve those cases then to put useless sanction that punish the innocent.

    Let me tell you that even if I am partially at fault as it is my account and it was my son who did it, at the end of the day, legally talking, if you go to Court and you weren't the one who was part of any offense, you will not be found guilty of anything

    Only an enforcement team member can respond to any suspensions they issue and they do not use the forums. The
    case review process is the only way to appeal your case.

    Keep in mind you are responsible for anything that occurs on your account per the
    Code of Conduct, which you agreed to when you created your account.

    This is why every user should have their own account and not share accounts. It's also why Microsoft offers many ways for parents to control child accounts.

    My account was falsely permanently banned

    If it is not shown on the Enforcement page, unfortunately there is no other way to appeal the sanction.

    If you have received a sanction, the only way to appeal it is by following the information in this link

    Only the Enforcement team can remove the sanction through appeals, in the first paragraph of the link I gave you is the message where they specify that support cannot remove the sanction or do anything about it.
