Output Xbox series x sound - input into PC

Hey there

Does anyone have „connected“ their series x with a PC?

I am mainly using my PC and I just want to extract the Xbox sound and feed it to my PC. I actually don’t care about party chat because I am using discord or teamspeak

With the Xbox one I have used the Astro mixamp

I have tried the basic aux cable into the microphone input and set it as a speaker, but the sound quality is awful.

Next I want to try a aux to male usb cable

Have you got any ideas on how I could solve this

Unless you have Dolby Decoder with three 3.5mm outputs for 5.1 or run the 360s optical out into your PCs sound card and have it monitor it to decode the signal into analog for you getting surround sound isn't going to happen. I have a couple X-fi soundcards
and there can be a delay introduced when the sound card is processing a Dolby or DTS input and outputting a corrected analog output. Has more to do with the drivers. Creative drivers have a bad reputation especially when it comes to simultaneous multi-channel
input and output.. I would look for a Dolby Decoder box that has an optical in and three 3.5mm outputs unless always running your PC when you play and buying a $60-70 soundcard sounds like a good solution. The Crystalizer does nothing but act like a semi real
time equalizer and EAX is only useful if your running a game on the PC.

Hello again, the console's HDMI IN only accepts input signal, i.e. receives signals from another device.

If your console is Xbox One S or X, you have the Optical Output (S/PDIF) Out that can be connected to your Speaker if it has (S/PDIF) In.

If your console is series s or x it won't have this output.

I don't know what inputs and outputs you have in your speaker, so I don't know which connection would be best to use.

If the 2 inputs on your monitor are DVI (White) and VGA (Blue), Then if your PC has a DVI output, use that input on the monitor and use the VGA cable for the Xbox 360 on the monitor's VGA input.

With sound, you didn't really specify how you're set up for sound with your computer, but if its PC speakers with 3.5mm jacks, it'll need an extra adapter for the VGA cable. But get back to me on that first and then we'll see.
