OutLast should be on XBOX ONE

Well I got my fingers crossed for any of you who want this to come to X1. Would be nice to see more horror this gen. Or at least more horror worthy of the title.

 

I want more horror games too but I want more originality. I want to play some games that I don't feel like I already played before. There are millions of possible settings and stories. I like the new trend of horror films with contol over outcomes. If
anyone has ever played Heavy Rain for the PS3, that is what I'm referring to. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time I played it because very stressful choices were around every corner. I love survival horror but there are certain scenariors that
are a bit played out. I'm feeling a bit done with zombies and slaughterfests for a while.

 

I honestly think it would be worth the developers time to create an XBOX ONE port of the game. I have tried to contact RED BARRELS GAMES via EMAIL and TWITTER, but no luck. This game will sell. I know there are a lot of gamers out there who would pay
for this game. There is a serious lack of HORROR games lately. I know that THE EVIL WITHIN and DYING LIGHT are on the way, but OUTLAST just seems so amazing! FYI i have both games on pre order. Sad thing is that me and my girlfriend have been discussing
this game quite a bit and we may have to break down and get a PS4 just to play it... *long sigh* I really dont want a PS4 or a $1500.00+ gaming PC, but to get more games it may just have to happen. I am no lie a massive hardcore XBOX fan, but i really want
to play this game. =(

 

^ Seriously...there is no reason to buy a PS4 just to play Outlast. My pc played it just fine. I'm using an older computer and it runs just fine on mine. You DO NOT need high graphics settings either as you are in the dark 90% of the time or using night
vision. Here are the specs of my computer: AMD Phenom IIx 4 965 Processor with 8 gigs/ram, w/ Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT (My weak link, which I plan to replace soon) and I played it flawlessly with a smooth frame rate.

 

I'd rather Horror games DONT go the route of Heavy Rain.

And Mud, you really shouldn't buy console for ONE game.

 

I also watched some game play on Twitch and damn, this looks insane and really creepy. I hope this will be ported to Xbox one. The survival horror genre is really big right now, and I believe that Outlast could do very well on the Xbox one.

 

I feel the same way as TheDuder87. I think this game would do very well on Xbox One. I wish Red Barrels would give us a solid "yes" or "no".

 

Biz your specs beat my specs by a mile lol. I bet I couldn't play it even if I could on mine (practically half of what your specs are). I hear what your saying about the horror genre though. I just hope they can make one that isn't too much of a shaky game.
By that I mean rapid movement, like that movie Cloverfield. Those usually invite my seizures round for tea and crumpets lol. Fatal frame (I drum on about that a lot, I know) but that had the perfect tone for me.

Did you get a PS4 then? If not how did you get to Outlast? I want to grab Resogun in case i do decide to get a PS4 but i cant figure out how (PS3 store doesnt show PS4 + games for me).

Anyway, Outlast looks fun. Like maybe same feeling i got about Condemned so maybe i will play it eventually. Maybe Aliens: Isolation will be similar also(i kind of hope so)

 

Outlast is $20 on Steam, but will sometimes be on sale for 75% off, or $5. Yes, it feels a little like condemned.

No I didnt get a Ps4. I played it on my father's. But I'm thinking about getting one in the future because I'm lovnig all the games they've put out for Plus. Resogun is SOOO FUN!!!

 

Oh and i tihnk you can pick the games up right from the actual website. I haven't done it myself because I jsut hopped on and downloaded from the psn store but you should if you can jsut in case.
