Outlast on Game Store!

@aRaging me and Kingvas were talking about Tomb Raider not Outlast.

Outlast does seem tenpting but for the price it doesnt seem worth it if I can finish it in 4-5 hours. Child of Light was 5 bucks cheaper and I put 8-10 hours in my initial play-through.

 

I bought it last night, and am about halfway though.

Honestly if you like survival/horror then you'll love this game. Definitely the freakiest game i've played since the Fatal Frame games.

Nice looking graphics too, I was actually surprised how nice it looked.

 

N7 Gh0stz, It never was a PS4 exclusive. It originally came out on PC first.

 

DL last night played for 1/2 hour ..Good stuff !

I like these kind of games ..Nice change from just kicking doors in and blasting everything in sight..Even though i like that too LOL...

Worth 20 bucks just to watch my wife play it LOL..

 

I really want it, but I'm going to wait just a little bit longer.

 

Sod's law it'll end up on GWG in a week or two, but I'm a massive horror fan, so I couldn't resist!

Had a quick go last night and really enjoyed what I played. Has a great atmosphere to it and looks better than I thought it would, Picked up the Whistleblower dlc too

I am not sure how far I am into the game (I am at the fire part). I am loving this game so far. I STRONGLY suggest you wear a headset while playing this game to get the full affect. I wasn't 5 minutes into the game when I got my first jump scare. I do find
myself hitting the wrong button to run and end up being killed or stuck in a corner. So far I am very impressed with this game. Well wroth the $20 IMHO. I haven't even started the DLC yet.. going to play after I complete the main game.

 

I can't really wait much longer. I'll hold out til July 1st, and if the next games aren't good I'm going to get it.

 

Absolutely worth the $20. The pacing and atmosphere are perfect.

 

Played this on PS4 and its a solid game but not one I'd have spent money on.

Fans of horror games will enjoy it though as it is pretty scary at times. More just jump scares than anything.

 

Well Bizarro, a YouTube playthrough does tend to show the good and the bad sides of a game, and I really didn't see anything that made me want to buy it. I'm glad I just watched it instead of following all the hype. Of course it's not worth a cent to me
now since I know the whole plot, but I wouldn't even recommend it to others for more than $5. Quite frankly, I got rather bored halfway through the playthrough...
