Outer Worlds Installation - Continuously reverting back to 'Install'

Hi there.

I purchased Xbox Game Pass for PC and downloaded the Xbox (Beta) app for my PC. I then attempted to install the Outer Worlds. At first, this appeared to go well, with the button reading 'Play' when the download initially completed. However, as the initial
download took a while and it was late by the time it finished, I didn't immediately play, instead closing down my laptop and leaving it until the next day.

When I booted up the app the next day and went to the game, it was no longer recognised as installed on my system. The button had returned to the 'Install' button. When I clicked this button, the download appears to 'begin', then immediately completes within
a few seconds - but the button returns to the 'Install', and this whole process is repeated over and over again. This also occurs when attempting to download the game from the Microsoft Store app.

I have spent the past day attempting every suggestion I could find online to fix this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Microsoft Store, Game Services and Xbox app. I have made sure my Windows is fully up to date multiple times. I have attempted to
download as an administrator and with my firewall turned off. I have restarted my system again and again. My subscription is up to date (I only purchased it a few days ago!). Nothing has changed, and the issue still remains. I have enough disk space for the
install and my system is powerful enough to run the game.

A solution which actually allows me to run the game would be awesome. But at this point, I'm more concerned about any files/data floating around from the botched install taking up space on my PC, as the game was initially recognised as being fully downloaded,
but I obviously can't uninstall fully through the apps as it is not recognised as being installed. I can't find any files from the game in my Programs or in the Program Files, but my concern remains. If anyone could help me with making sure these are fully
cleared from my PC, and/or actually making the game work, I'd be very grateful.
