    Out of warranty service order failure


    My Elite Series 2 controller has stick drift on both sticks.

    I tried to get this replaced using the out of warranty service order but keep getting this message

    "TraceID: VMg2m1B5c0CcaX+6.28.194"

    I have contacted Xbox Support who said to:

    - use a new credit card

    - use another or new account

    Neither of these work. I keep being told it is my card. It can't be. I can pay for my Microsoft Office Subscription and buy on the Xbox Store.

    I feel like I am getting fobbed off.

    I have never had anything other than terrible service from Xbox Support going back to the 360 Red Ring of Death, when I was blamed for overheating my console until it hit the news there was a manufacturing issue.

    To effectively clarify this issue, you need to contact Microsoft support directly via chat so that they can help you with the out of warranty service

    I wouldn't really worry about this. As long as you have proof it was delivered then your ok. Things are really backed up at the moment with the world. Ontop of all of that it still takes about a month for repair.
