Out of Warranty Replacement

Hi,

my XBOX Elite 2 controller has an issue and is out of warranty. When I look at the available options it comes up with the following:-

Which is a direct new replacement I'm assuming (Rather than a refurb)?

My question is; does this new item come with a 12 month warranty as a new item? Given they seem to last around 3 months at a time without a service return it's not much use without.

I tried the online chat option but it says it's not available for this issue!

The devices that are sent from the service and repair center can be new or rebuilt, the warranty period for devices that are sent as replacement or out-of-warranty orders is 3 months.

Remember that when you buy a control you get a guarantee, but when you request a replacement for the control that you bought, the guarantee remains the same as the beginning in case it has already expired, what I advise you is to request a repair (You must pay a fee since you are without warranty) and in this way they would repair what is failing in your control.

Warranty is typically 90 days. If out of warranty you will have to replace it.

If the controller has failed and it is out of warranty you will need to replace it as there are no repair option for controllers that are out of warranty.
