    Hi,

    I tried to change my x1 pic quality from 720p to 1080p. The screen went blank and top left corner said 'out of range'. I understand my tv may not support 1080p but shouldn't it go back? Basically I have no pic output out of range problem :(

    Funny thing is my other Tv upstairs works fine.

    i plug my xbox1 into TV via hdmi and it says out of range and doesn't show on screen. I tried doing the cold reset on xbox but it has made zero difference. Please help

    this is happening to us. we have tried everything suggested. We plugged in our laptop & worked fine, we only have 1 port & 1 channel it could be? We have a sony bravia that we purchased 8 years ago & thought that was the problem so we went to *** smith &
    purchased a hdmi converter cable. Still not working??

    any more suggestions??

    Is the television on the correct channel? Try plugging your cables into another port if you have more than one of the same. Try another television set.

    im using a vga converter to hdmi to my xbox1 could that be why im getting an out of range message on the monitor im using ? the converter is brand new
