Out Of Range on Monitor when connected to Xbox

I tried plugging my Xbox into my monitor its a 1920x1080 monitor and on sources it only has VGA and only 1 HDMI no others and it just says Out Of Range and I think its because Xbox might not support 1920x1080

xbox does support 1920x1080p, when out of range then the xbox could have defaulted to 480 and the monitor does not like it as the xbox might not be picking up the edid info from the screen, what model monitor is it.

Hi,

Please try to reset your console's display settings:

Remove any discs from the disc tray.
Turn off the console.
Turn on the console.

Note If you are using an Xbox 360 Wireless Controller, turn on the console by using the Guide button on the controller. Make sure that you use the player 1 controller when you do this. The player 1 controller will have the upper-left light illuminated.
As the console starts, on the controller, press and hold Y while pulling the right trigger. The display settings are reset to the default settings, and then the console automatically restarts.

Could you explain the problem a little more clearly? It sounds to me like you said the console's working fine despite the error message. What's the real problem here?

I have tried turning freesync off on the monitor side and vrr off on the xbox, still doesn’t allow me to select 1440p@ 120hz.

I'm not surprised it's not working.
