Out of Options for Fixing Party Chat (XB1)

Port forwarding doesn't work (tried static IP and regular). DMZ doesn't work. I think the main issue lies within my modem because even when I switch to modem only and reboot, it still says strict NAT. I even tried port forwarding the modem (also tried static
IP and regular). I can connect to a good bit of people but can't with my best friend (most likely because he has moderate and I'm strict). It lets me join his party but once I'm in, it says connecting... then eventually gives me "X" and sometimes closes the
party then displays error 0x807d0106. Someone suggested I try bridge mode but lost internet right after switching to PPPOE. I'm probably doing something wrong so I'll leave it to the experts on here. Thanks in advance for the help. ISP: WINDSTREAM, MODEM:

Party Chat. Still broken. Fix it. Now!

This is getting old. The 360 has had party chat since 06'. Sony PS4 party chat works. And yet.... XB1 party chat is broken. And it's not my console. My friends are having issues with it as well. So like, what gives??? I really don't get how this doesn't
work right out of the gate.

To put things in perspective. Th 360 has a whopping. And I mean WHOPPING 512 MB's or RAM..... Party chat works very well.

XB1 has 8 GB of DDR5 RAM and...... Party chat is broken.

Somethings wrong with that.

I am truly sorry to hear about the Party Chat issues! In order for us to look into this issue further, I would like to ask a few clarifying questions:

• Are you using more than one console?
• Have you tried connecting your console directly to the modem?

Also, I recommend running through the steps list in our Xbox One multiplayer solution if you haven't already. Give the suggested steps a try and be sure to let us know the

I think i have worked out this issue if you are using wireless that is the issue, i also have been having this issue since Xbox One release untill last monday i decided i'm so sick of getting kicked from Battlefield and telling me i've lost connection to
EA but not Xbox Live, so i go out and buy a Cat5 cable and ever since plugging it in i haven't had 1 party dropout in 4 days its amazing, also i have a 360 which is further away than my One and that is on wireless and never have a issue with it but the Xbox
One always dropped me out of games or disconnected me from party chat or just goes party silence making you have to restart to get chatting again. I think Microsoft needs to take a good look at the Wi-fi connection in our Ones it seems a bit faulty seems like
its losing signal from time to time

So try a Cable and see how good your Xbox One will be Next-Gen can't do wireless like a Old-Gen 360.

 

Thanks for the replies. My Xbox One is the only console in the house. I tried a hard wired connection to both the router and modem. Read that Xbox One multiplayer solution guide two million times, tried it probably half a dozen times, and even retraced my
steps over and over to make sure I was doing everything correctly.

 

so your running a cat5 cable now and party chat still broken for you ?

 

I had an idea. What if I just forget about trying to fix the junkie modem and buy a better one? Can I do that for Windstream? Any ideas on which ones work best with Xbox One and are compatible with Windstream? I'm fine with doing that as an alternative if
it solves the problem.
