Out of nowhere I can't add friends

As the title states this just happened out of the blue, never had issues sending friend requests before. Every time I send one I get an error message saying "Can't complete this process. Please try again. For more info, visit
www.Xbox.com/support." I have no internet issues, but just to be sure I tried resetting my router plenty of times. Family settings are disabled, and the Xbox servers are running fine right now. This
is also the 3rd day in a row I have tried adding someone for it to fail so that makes me think that it isn't a connection issue. Any ideas?

I'm most definitely down for clean racing! I can't stand it when someone comes out from nowhere and blindsides you.

Especially in drifting!!! Feel free to add me/ accept my friend request and we can burn some clean rubber for sure!

In this case, can you have that friend post here so we can begin working with both accounts?

 

Some more info: I can send other messages without issue and my friends list isn't full. Only thing I can't do is send friend requests.

Sorry to hear about the friend request issues!

I checked the Xbox Live Services it seems there is no issue with 'Social and Gaming' services. What specifically was happening before this issue occurred? I'd recommend checking the privacy settings to see if it hasn't changed and has stopped you from sending
or receiving friend requests.

1. Go to the Account/Dashboard page
2. Go to Security, family, forums.
3. Go to Privacy settings.
4. Now you should see below the permissions you have on your account to add or receive requests from people.
   

If you're still seeing issues, I'd also recommend re-downloading your profile. You can find out how to do that on the Xbox
360 Download or Re-download Profile page.

I am also having this issue and I've tried going on Xbox.com to add my friends and it says their name isn't a gamer tag which I know is wrong. I have tried redownloading my profile and nothing works. It's kind of frustrating

 

I am as well I have 0 frirnds my internet works fine. We should not have to.use a website.to.add friends

I honestly think this is a microsoft issue that they need to find.and.fix.
