Discus and support OTA USB TV TUNER SUPPORT in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; It would be nice to be able to plug in a usb ota hdtv tuner into the xbox one and use that for people who ony have internet and don't subscribe to a tv...     It would be nice to be able to plug in a usb ota hdtv tuner into the xbox one and use that for people who ony have internet and don't subscribe to a tv package. something like.

    OTA pvr functionality?

    Hi there,

    I'm thinking of picking up an Xbox One soon but need to know if I can record tv shows OTA? I know from you other support page that purchasing the correct USB tuner and antenna will get me OTA channels. However, the reality is that hardly anyone (my family
    especially) watches live tv - we all watch recorded shows now. Can your machine record shows and how many shows can this machine record while watching live tv?

    i wanted to post list cus i have the usb tuner and were i live OTA blackout zone means no OTA signal what so ever. canada has OTA transmiters but the town i live in is in a black out zone!

    You can, there is are very nice youtube video about the hardware to use for this to work.

    I wont link here because of the adds on YouTube but this is very do-able.

    I have used every search combination on YouTube that I can think of and have found nothing regarding using a Hauppauge tv tuner stick on an xbox one.. NBS. Any suggestions?

    I suspect the cryptic suggestion involves using a standalone OTA/ATSC set top box connected to the HDMI input on the Xbox One. These boxes are relatively cheap (for example, a Mediasonic HW-150PVR HomeWorx is about $40 or less). It is not possible to
    use the Xbox One with a USB tuner at present (or likely ever).
