OS and bundled game language

Discus and support OS and bundled game language in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I live in Switzerland and therefore would like to order the Xbox One S from the Swiss online shop.     OS and bundled game language


    I live in Switzerland and therefore would like to order the Xbox One S from the Swiss online shop. In such case would I be able to set the Xbox OS to English and also the Game which is in the bundle (Gears of War)?

    If the above is not possible, can I order it from UK online shop and get it delivered to Switzerland?

    Fable 3 Only available in French for download

    Please let us just choose what version of the game we want to play or if it's a digital download put all the language packs bundled in the download

    changing language or region

    I'm talking about setting language to English in the OS not in game. In game voice commands can be programmed for numerous languages and selected by the language the game is running in so they are not an issue.

    Obviously the commands set up in the One's OS can be recognised in any selectable language in the menus. Why not allow the console to be in Italy but the voice recognition in English? Accent and language has already been dealt with by the programmers for
    the languages available on the console.

    I do use voice recognition on my smartphone and strangely it still recognises me in my own language and my own accent whether I am in London, Paris or Oslo. I'd take a guess it would work on the space station as well. I just don't understand why a next
    gen console can't let me speak in one of the languages it is programmed to recognised in any location.

    You can set the console language to English but games depend on the games themselves.The majority of games have language options now so you should be able to set them to English.

    Not played GOW in years so can't remember if you can with them of not but I would think so as it's such a big franchise.

    Look in options in the ingsme menu.

    If its not there then it wont be

    It goes by your os language and region. Very few games have ingame language options

    Language indepedence is only a xbox one feature and is controled on the os but if you do use it everything is thqt language not the game

    That is not correct, when I change the default language to English all the games run with that language. There are some games that after the change they need an update or to download that language pack. But works fine, the voices or dialogues of that game
    change to that language, in this case English.

    The thing is that the mayority of the games have all the supported languages in the files of the game when you install or download that game. If you system language is french your game will be french, text and voices. All dialogues. The problen here is that
    the xbox os will also be french.
