Orphaned Account

Through a series of unfortunate events I deleted an account off of my family 5 days before his 18th b-day. I have talked to xbox support, and the advocacy team, which went no where. I have tried adding the account back to my family but it wont let me because
it is an orphaned or so I was told by the customer service. I cant promote the account to an adult because I need it to be on my family. All I want to do is recover the account so I can add it to my family and upgrade it to an adult account.

Also. I already have the email and password to the account and can log into the account. I just can not mess with the account settings or anything like that.

Hello. I am trying to recover an orphaned account. I have a service number that I replied to within the 2 days but got ignored and close my case. Just wanting help in recovering the orphaned account.

 

Connecting a child account

contact support for that... for them to be able to connect your account to your sons. your son's account might be orphaned.

 

your best bet is call in again and have them escalate it as an orphaned account. if the escalation is done properly, the escalation team will provide the steps.

 

Did you try the escalation process?? If so how long did it take? My daughters account is in limbo too and after 10-12 days and 5 xbox reps I still haven't heard from them. They said it would take 2 days after I talk to the 1 st xbox rep for the escalation
department to contact me.

I am not entirely sure on how long it takes. I would ring them again. As long as you have got your Support Reference number. They will be able to look into it for you.
