    tried to turn on xbox and wont turn on with console button. checked all wiring, made sure things were connected securely. this xbox has the wired controller, not a wireless.

    what can I check to see why it wont turn on? been a great console! dont want to lose it. this is THE ORIGINAL XBOX console......not connected to internet nor nothing else but tv.....

    please reply asap!!! thanks

    If you receive no input at all after pressing the Power on button you most likely need to take it to a professional, as sometimes it's due to a hardware failure, but you can also try to get a new power cord

    What you could try before those options it's to leave the power button press for a minute or 2, while the console it's unplugged and then connect the console

    When you say an original xbox do you mean the old black console or an old white 360?

    Need for Speed Underground 2 is the only original xbox NFS game that is backwards compatible.

    I disagree 100% I did not like the white console AT ALL. Especially after going from a black original xbox and while having a black PS3. Plus most home electronics are black or silver. How many white tvs do you see? Maybe we will have an option to decide
    between white or black so everyone is happy. I personally prefer the black consoles.
