    Man this just isnt looking very good.

    I'm on my second xbox, my original xbox worked fine but I just wanted to upgrade to slim, had the original for 3 to 4 years. I don't understand how you break an xbox.... People complain about like red ring and stuff but that's just fail.. Don't let your
    xbox get red ring.

    Best Xbox?

    I preferred the 360. It lacked the magic of the original Xbox, but it was the better console. Both the original and the 360 red ring'd too often for my liking. I gave Microsoft a pass when it came to the original since they were young in console gaming and sloppy craftsmanship gets the pass on your first go around and just had it fixed.

    Then 360 came and with it, the red ring.

    And to think, people used to do this back in the day with the original xbox's when they would red ring and do the towel fix just to sell it.

    My guess is that the cable or port is damaged making the light go red instead of green. I remember on the original Xbox 360, 4 red rings meant the AV or HDMI cable wasn't connected properly.

    yes, mine is an older model. My original red-ringed, so this is the refurb they sent me from that.
