    Original xbox one stuck at 66% on reset


    so I was resetting my xbox one to clear out any corrupt data. I hit the preparing console page, had a steady beat going on as the percentage went up, it got to 66% and stopped. An hour later and it still hadn't changed, so I did a hard reset as advised by
    a couple of forums I'd checked out and still it gets stuck at 66%, I've tried factory reset by holding the buttons and yet still no luck, any ideas?

    Xbox One froze whilst updating today

    same here. Xbox was stuck a 66% for HOURS! i tried the hard reset and updating offline via USB and the Xbox is stuck again at 66% again updating with a USB stick!

    This is ridiculous. My XBOX One was stuck on 66% while applying the online update for hours. I decided to shut it off and cross my fingers. No luck. I got stuck on the loading screen. I have now tried a offline USB update and it is again stuck at 66%. Having
    to do a factory reset is not a solution Microsoft. Please don't ignore this issue Microsoft.

    Same exact trouble here - stuck on 66% for hours. We did the power down, unplugging the power and then resetting it. It gets stuck on the Xbox one green screen... Looking at resetting to factory defaults. Kind of scared to do this!

    i have the same thing it is stuck at 66% and it gets frozen so a reset and it is stuck at green screen

    Xbox one froze on startup. I’ve reset and power cycled it. I’ve downloaded the offline update and gone through that process. It keeps getting stuck 66% of step 3 or 88% of entire update. What else can be done???
