The update is really nothing so that means while xbox one owner get heist & what not original 360 owners get nothing....... can someone please tell me what i'm missing here ?

Original Xbox Ones are not suffering discrimination, they play the same games as the One S and X.

I have all three generations of the Xbox One and all three perform perfectly fine.

 

My day one xbox one is still chugging along perfectly. Not sure what you are talking about? The original one is many years old now, new models will come out...we are not “owed” anything because new models are released many years later. Suck it up, buttercup...

To get serious though, there is nothing wrong with the Xbox One console, it still plays all of the games available for that console. Does it run games as well as the Xbox One X? no, but its your choice whether to upgrade or not.

I'm a Day One Xbox One kid, and I still have that console with Kinect, but both have been placed in storage and now I have Xbox One X, THE MOST POWERFUL CONSOLE CURRENTLY ON THE MARKET.

PS4 Pro can not perform. We are being discriminated. They are outdated and can not perform correctly, cuz it's weaker hardware specs wise than the Xbox One X. And Microsoft emphasized about hardware power regarding it last year.

I also have a Sony 4k HDR TV with Triluminos advanced colour technology and an X-Reality PRO processor.

So I'm ok for my entertainment thanks.

Nothing beats being among the first to get Xbox One, the controllers are autographed by Microsoft. Microsoft manufactured day one editions to include Day One 2013 engraved in them. Take a look at Xbox 360. More people play on Xbox
360 STILL, than they do Xbox One. My Xbox 360 slim console I got 2010 when I joined Xbox, is still working fine. Outdated technology can still be a bit fun.

Game developers, please make deathmatch modes specifically for us of the zimmer frame brigade, we cannot run round the maps as fast as the younger gamers.

While the OP hasn't put his point across very well, I can kind of see the train of thought he's been following.

The big advantages of consoles was that you could buy a console at the start of the generation and, revisions for size and power efficiency aside, the console you could buy at the end of the generation would be the same. No matter when you buy, you get the
same experience.

However this generation from Microsoft has bucked that trend somewhat. A person who bought an Xbox One at the start of the generation now clearly has an inferior console to someone who is buying one in the middle of the generation with the S or the X (especially
the latter).

I imagine the OP is feeling annoyed at having the 'worst' Xbox One model. And of course I'm not forgetting Sony here and their upgraded machine, they get just a slight leeway since their base model is still available to buy.

 

The Xbox One Original THRASHES AND BEATS the other revisions of Xbox One (S and X) in one big thing at least.

SUPPORT FOR KINECT.

The original has a dedicated Kinect port. The S and X don't. If you want to use Kinect for the S and X, you must buy the official adapter. O wait, Microsoft has completely run out of stock of Kinect adapters, and Kinect. They've stopped manufacturing everything
Kinect AT SHORT NOTICE. And a Kinect adapter thingy means MORE CHORDS than connecting your Kinect to the original console.

I have both the Original and X models. I'm keeping my Kinect and original console in storage just in case I want to use Kinect again. I have Kinect Sports Rivals and Zoo Tycoon, both of which support Kinect.

I've noticed people are selling day one edition original Xbox One consoles at higher prices because they're worth a lot more. Since Microsoft has stopped distributing Kinect stuff, and EBay Australia charging AU$500 for a Kinect adapter, and Amazon sellers
not shipping to Australia and New Zealand for Kinect adapters, it has become endangered so sellers are taking advantage of this, DEFINTELY EBAY AUSTRALIA THE BIGGEST CULPRET.

S AND X OWNERS YOUR SYSTEM CAN NOT PERFORM. WE ARE BEING DISCRIMINATED. WE ARE HANDICAPPED AGAINST YOLO. THEY ARE OUTDATED AND CAN NOT PERFORM CORRECTLY. THEY ARE OLD SCHOOL CAUSE THEY USE A CONTROLLER, NO VR, NO KINECT, NO CAMERA, NO KINECT, NO NADDA. THEY
REQUIRE YOU TO MANUALLY ENTER IN A 25 KEY USING A CONTROLLER TO REDEEM CONTENT RATHER THAN WAVE A QR CODE AT KINECT WHICH ONLY TAKES 1 SECOND VS. 20 SECONDS TO ENTER IN A 25 KEY CODE WITH A CONTROLLER WITH NO KEYBOARD. THEY ARE HANDICAPPED BECAUSE THE DAY
ONE EDITION CONTROLLERS ARE AUTOGRAPHED BY MICROSOFT (DAY ONE 2013) AND THE OTHERS AREN'T. THEY ARE HANDICAPPED BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT THE FIRST XBOX ONE MODEL TO COME OUT.

Also, the Xbox One Original comes with a mic. The X doesn't.

There also seems to be less younger people on Xbox One too, compared with Xbox 360, in my experience. I'm finding a lot more older adults and split screeners, playing Minecraft, than on Xbox 360. However Forza Horizon 3 can usually be a good game to play
with younger people. Not really into COD but I like COD BO2 zombies.

 

I suggest playing Poker type games. We tend to stay away from those. However I do have TDU2 on Xbox 360. It has a Casino component and found myself playing with people in their 40s 50s and 60s. But I encountered some 12 year olds at the casino when I hung
out there.

Maybe there could be an option to play with specific age groups, eg. 0-5, 6-12, 13-17, 18-24, 25-34, 35-49, etc....

It would be really great if there was an option that didn't allow split screeners. especially when you see .....1 ......2 ......3 [you kick .....1 from the mc mini game, ..... 4 appears ..... you then kick the original gamertag from the game. They're
like people who create multiple accounts and play on one console which has a gold account on a console set as a Home console.

 

It's all a matter of perspective though. Looking at the previous generations before the Xbox One "family", the only thing stopping people from making the exact same statement was the fact that each generation was almost completely separated from the previous
one. The few backwards compatible attempts that were made flopped, no cross platform gaming, and game production for the previous generation dried up fairly quick.

For the Xbox and the Xbox 360, most people felt "forced" to buy the next generation or be left behind with few new games to look forward to and a dwindling online population of people playing the games that were still played on them.

I mean honestly... if you want to get a feeling of being discriminated against and/or annoyed at having the 'worst' Xbox model, go play on anything before the One. You weren't told that the previous consoles "ARE HANDICAPPED AGINST NEW CONSOLES.
THEY ARE OUTDATED AND CAN NOT PERFORM CORRECTLY". You were flat out told they were incompatible with new consoles and can not perform at all.

As of now, I play on a 4k TV with an XB1s, with my wife who plays on a 1080p TV on an OG XB1. We only play a few games together and not that many public match made games, but the few public games I have played... I couldn't tell you if anyone
else was on a XB1, 1s, or 1X. Maybe with more vs experience, I could see a difference IDK, but I think I recall hearing that there are some normalizing measures in place to help keep people on specific platforms from having a distinct advantage, at least in
MP.

Taking that into consideration, I felt much more at ease with my decision to wait a year or so with the 1X and let them get the little bugs worked out than a did with any previous console iteration. I definitely know which of the situations I've always found
annoying... and it isn't with the current XB1.
