Original Xbox One not Booting up.

Hello, I brought the original Xbox One without Kinect back when they first dropped the Kinect/price, i've had it for quite a while now and this is the first time coming across this issue. As of Saturday morning 10/12/19 i have not been able to power the
console on AT ALL. I've tried to move to different outlet, change the hdmi cable as well as some internet tricks such as holding the eject button and pressing power on. None have worked yet. at this point i'm not sure what my next move is or if its even able
to be saved.

I believe you need to replace your power supply pack.

Check the power cord! Sounds stupid but it may just be the cause of the problem.

At first i thought the issue was the power cord but the brick still lights up orange and stays a solid color. most troubleshooting threads I've read said if that's the case it isn't the power brick.

sorry to hear. I would first free him from dust (in case of emergency with a COLD hair dryer) better with a compressor. But you should first try

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with powering on your console.

As stated by litlegrl2000, and Xbox Forums Ambassador iareBRENDEN,
it might still be worth attempting to test an alternate power supply unit from a local retailer.

You mentioned that the light of the device stays soild, but what color is it? Additionally, if you have your console configured to use the
Startup chime set to "On", do you hear any audio coming from the console when you power this on?

Setting up a Service Order for your original Xbox One would not be an option as Microsoft no longer manufactures these devices, so testing out another power supply unit would be your best option in this instance.

I'm sorry about any confusion or turmoil this might have caused.

See if you can bring it into a local game shop and test with a power cable they have on hand. Some places sell used cables too so if thats the cause just grab a new one.

Unfortunately Microsoft no longer makes them.
